Applicable to participants enrolling in the November 2026 cohort onwards.

1. Program & Studio Days

  • The Startup Program is offered on a monthly basis for a maximum of 3 consecutive months.

  • Each month includes 2 Studio Days, with access to one workstation per Studio Day:

    • 1 Partner Space Day at a participating Partner Space requested by the participant and subject to Gentle Ground’s approval, suitability and availability; and

    • 1 Gentle Ground Studios Day at Gentle Ground Studios.

  • A Studio Day refers to one continuous booking for up to the full operating hours made available for the Startup Program at the booked location on that day. Operating hours vary between locations

  • Startup Program locations may vary and are selected from participating Partner Spaces, subject to availability.

  • For Months 2 and 3, submit your preferred Partner Space at least 7 days before your next billing date. Requests are subject to suitability and availability. If no preference is received, Gentle Ground will assign a suitable available Partner Space.

  • Studio Days must be used within the applicable program month and cannot be rolled over, transferred, exchanged for cash or refunded.

  • Studio Days are strictly for the successful applicant and may not be shared, transferred or reassigned to another business or participant.

  • Participation is limited to qualifying businesses accepted into the Startup Program. Eligibility is limited to one Startup Program participation per brand or business entity.

Booking & Studio Access

  • All Studio Days must be booked through Gentle Ground's designated booking process and are subject to availability.

  • Booking requirements, operating hours, facilities and house rules vary by location.

  • Participants must comply with the applicable rules and operating requirements of the location booked.

  • Access is permitted only during the confirmed Studio Day and within the operating hours specified for that booking.

  • Gentle Ground may update the list of participating Partner Spaces and Startup Program locations from time to time.

  • If a confirmed space becomes unavailable or unsuitable for use, Gentle Ground will endeavour to offer a reasonable alternative where practicable.

  • Additional Studio Days, hours or bookings outside the monthly program allocation may be booked separately at the applicable standard non-program rates, subject to availability.

Billing & Cancellation

  • The Startup Program fee is S$168 per month.

  • The first month is prepaid upon enrolment.

  • The program auto-renews monthly for up to 2 additional consecutive months, for a maximum participation period of 3 months.

  • Renewal payments will be charged automatically using the payment method provided. Auto-renewal is not dependent on the participant submitting a Partner Space preference.

  • To stop the next renewal, participants must submit a cancellation request in writing via email at least 7 days before the next billing date. The billing date is the 29th of each month.

  • Cancellation prevents the next renewal and does not provide a refund for the current program month.

  • The Startup Program will not automatically renew beyond the maximum 3-month participation period.

  • Participants are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method. If a renewal payment cannot be successfully processed, Gentle Ground may suspend or cancel participation.

  • Fees paid are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangeable, except where otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed by Gentle Ground.

  • Payment for the applicable month must be successfully received before that month's Studio Days can be booked or used.

Participant Responsibilities

  • Participants must maintain professional standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety and respectful conduct.

  • Participants are responsible for their own business activities, services, clients, equipment and professional obligations.

  • Participants must ensure that their services and activities comply with all applicable Singapore laws, regulations, licensing requirements and professional requirements.

  • Studios, workstations, furniture and equipment must be used responsibly and left ready for the next user.

  • Participants are responsible for any damage, stains, loss or missing items caused by the participant or their clients.

  • Unsafe, unlawful, disruptive or unauthorised activities are not permitted.

  • Services and consultations may only be conducted within the space included in the confirmed booking.

  • The address of Gentle Ground Studios or any Partner Space may not be used for business registration, marketing, mailing or online business listings without prior written approval.

  • Participants must comply with any reasonable location-specific rules communicated by Gentle Ground or the relevant Partner Space.

  • Participants remain responsible for determining whether a location, facility or equipment is suitable for their intended services.

  • Gentle Ground, Gentle Ground Studios and participating Partner Spaces are not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings or professional equipment brought into a location, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

Misuse & Termination

Gentle Ground may suspend or terminate participation in the Startup Program in cases including:

  • Misuse or unauthorised transfer of a Studio Day

  • Material or repeated breach of these Terms

  • Unsafe, unlawful or disruptive conduct

  • Unauthorised use of a studio or Partner Space

  • Misrepresentation during the application or enrolment process

  • Material damage to a studio, equipment or Partner Space

  • Failure to comply with reasonable studio or Partner Space rules

Where participation is terminated due to serious misuse or breach, unused Studio Days may be cancelled and eligibility for future Gentle Ground programs may be restricted.

Termination does not affect any outstanding payments, damage charges or other obligations incurred before termination.

Agreement & General Terms

  • By enrolling in and making payment for the Startup Program, participants confirm that they have read, understood and agreed to these Startup Program Terms of Use, Gentle Ground's General Terms & Conditions, and any applicable rules of the selected Gentle Ground Studio or Partner Space.

  • Participants are responsible for reviewing and complying with any location-specific requirements applicable to their booking.

  • Gentle Ground may make reasonable operational changes to participating locations, booking procedures or program administration from time to time where reasonably necessary.

  • Participating Partner Spaces, facilities, operating hours and availability may change from time to time.

  • Where a confirmed space becomes unavailable, Gentle Ground will endeavour to provide a reasonable alternative where practicable.

  • Participation in the Startup Program does not constitute an endorsement, accreditation or certification of a participant's business, services or professional qualifications by Gentle Ground or any Partner Space.

  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

  • These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Singapore, and disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

Previous Startup Program Terms

S$150/month · 4 Studio Sessions

Cohort Start & Session Rules

  • Each cohort begins on its official start date, and all participants within that cohort start together.

  • The program runs for 3 consecutive months from the cohort start date.

  • Sessions are allocated monthly (4 per month) and must be used within that calendar month at the assigned Startup Program Studio. Unused sessions cannot be carried forward, transferred, or refunded.

  • Participants may only utilise one Startup Program session per calendar day. Multiple sessions may not be booked or combined on the same day, including back-to-back bookings, for the purpose of extending usage hours.

  • Gentle Ground reserves the right to reassign sessions to another suitable Startup Program Studio if the assigned studio becomes unavailable or unfit.

  • Sessions are strictly for the successful applicant and may not be shared, transferred, or reassigned. If the booking holder is not the individual present using the space, it will be considered misuse; the program will be terminated immediately without refund, and the applicant will be permanently banned from all future programs.

  • Eligibility is limited to one cohort participation per brand. Repeat applications under the same brand or entity will not be accepted.

  • Access to the online Starter Course will be provided only after payment confirmation.

  • For each renewal month, a new booking code will be issued on the cohort start date of that month, provided the applicable renewal payment has been successfully received. The booking code grants access to schedule sessions for that month's allocation.

Auto‑Renewal Terms

  • The initial month is prepaid at sign‑up.

  • The program auto‑renews for two additional months only, with a maximum duration of three consecutive months in total.

  • Billing occurs on the 29th of each month, beginning from month 2.

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing at least 7 days prior to the next billing date.

  • Renewal beyond the three‑month maximum is not permitted.

  • A new booking code will be issued on the cohort start date, or following a successful billing (whichever occurs later), giving you access to schedule sessions for the upcoming month.

  • Applicants and participants are responsible for ensuring that their payment method and billing details remain valid and capable of processing renewal charges on the applicable billing date. Gentle Ground does not provide payment reminders or notice of failed payments.

  • If a renewal payment cannot be successfully processed on the billing date, participation will be automatically cancelled. Any future participation will require a new application and will be subject to availability and approval. Any payment received after cancellation does not automatically reinstate participation or guarantee participation in any particular month.

Studio Access

  • Valid exclusively for use at one selected Startup Program Studio per cohort.

  • Each subscription includes four half‑day sessions per month at the designated workstation and location.

  • Gentle Ground reserves the right to reassign you to another suitable workstation or Startup Program Studio if your preferred option is unavailable.

  • Bookings must be made online via the official Gentle Ground system at least 12 hours in advance for Gentle Ground Studios, and at least 24 hours in advance for other Startup Program Studios.

  • Access is permitted only during your booked time slot. Any usage beyond this or outside booked hours will incur overtime fees as outlined in the General Terms & Conditions.

  • Unused sessions within the subscription period cannot be carried forward, transferred, or refunded.

Fees and Payment

  • The program fee is SGD 150 per participating cohort/month.

  • Fees are non‑refundable, non‑transferable, and non‑exchangeable.

  • Payment must be completed prior to the start of the subscription period and before online course access is granted.

  • The initial month is prepaid at sign‑up. Subsequent billing occurs automatically on the 29th of each month, beginning from month 2, in accordance with the Auto‑Renewal Terms.

Conduct and Responsibilities

  • Participants must maintain professional standards of cleanliness, safety, and respectful conduct. Furniture must be restored to its original placement after use.

  • No consultations or services may be provided in unbooked or common areas.

  • Any damage, stains, or missing items will be chargeable at full replacement value.

  • Hazardous, illegal, or perishable items are strictly prohibited in the studio.

  • Participants are responsible for the proper use and disposal of linens and equipment.

  • Client poaching, aggressive sales tactics, or illegal treatments are strictly prohibited.

  • Participants must comply with all applicable Singapore laws and regulations.

  • Use of Gentle Ground, Startup Program Studio or any Partner Space’s address for business registrations, marketing, or online presence without written consent is strictly prohibited.

Liability

  • Gentle Ground and the Startup Program Studio are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings or professional equipment brought into the studio.

  • By participating, you agree to release and hold harmless Gentle Ground Pte Ltd, Startup Program Studio or any Partner Spaces and their officers from any claims, damages, or costs arising from your use of the facilities.

Misuse & Termination

  • Any breach of these terms — including but not limited to session misuse, undeclared activities, unauthorised use of space, or repeat applications — will result in immediate termination of the program without refund and a permanent ban from future participation.

Governing Law & General Provisions

  • Gentle Ground shall not be liable for delays, disruptions, or cancellations caused by events beyond its reasonable control (including but not limited to government regulations, public health measures, natural disasters, or other force majeure events).

  • Participants acknowledge that reassignment to another suitable Startup Program Studio does not constitute grounds for refund or cancellation.

  • No partial refunds will be issued for unused sessions or early termination by the participant. Booking codes are valid only for the subscription month in which they are issued.

  • Gentle Ground reserves the right to immediately terminate access for any conduct deemed unsafe, unlawful, or disruptive, at its sole discretion.

  • These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Singapore, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

Agreement

  • By subscribing to the Startup Program, participants confirm agreement to these Terms of Use and Gentle Ground General Terms & Conditions. Participants also acknowledge that the Startup Program Studio may have their own usage regulations, which must be reviewed and agreed to at the time of booking.
